Job Title: Management Trainee

Location: Gloucester

This is a new and innovative 12 month trainee-development scheme being pioneered by Exclusive Contract Services and managed by the Training Director.

The position will involve an intensive program that will see the successful candidate work alongside our store cleaning managers, mobile support teams, area management and other capable mentors from both the company and our client, learning all aspects of the business. Our client is one the UK’s largest and most successful retail operators.

As the candidate progresses, they will be tested and evaluated to determine their proficiency in various areas. Successful completion of these tests and evaluations will result in rewards, pay increases and the opportunity for further promotion.

Profile:

We are looking for a bright, self-motivated, flexible and ambitious individual with strong leadership and team-building skills. Previous experience in cleaning management is preferred but not essential.

The successful applicant must be committed to working varying hours according to the needs of the business and this will include some weekends.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be long-term unemployed
• Have a full grasp of the English language
• Have no criminal record
• Have a full, clean driving licence
• Be initially based in the Gloucester area

Initially, this role is for 40 hours a week, working 6 days out of 7 (to include some weekends as stated above). Candidates must be prepared to work a variety of early morning shifts, day shifts and evening shifts.
