Sainsbury’s Supermarkets – Major Contract Awarded to Exclusive

In April 2008, Exclusive were awarded a major superstore portfolio by Sainsbury’s. The estate encompassed 101 superstores across the Midlands, South West and Wales adding over 850 transferred staff to our payroll.

As well as the stores, Exclusive were also successful in being awarded 6 major distribution centres. It is a great testament to our whole team that we transferred the stores and distribution centres on one day without disruption, making it a seamless transition for Sainsbury’s.

Understandably we have put in place a highly experienced management and supervisory structure, which is led by a dedicated Sainsbury’s Key Account Director. Our service provisions are linked to service level agreements and key performance indicators which are constantly monitored and audited, thus forming the basis for regular management meetings and reviews.

As you would expect, an account as large as the Sainsbury’s portfolio is ever changing and it is Exclusive’s flexible, pro-active approach and ‘can do’ attitude which is key to our successful contract operation and customer satisfaction.
