New staff receive a tailored induction course and their progress is monitored closely. All managers have a responsibility to maintain an inclusive organisation. All employees at all levels can expect a structured approach to their training and future development which meets both organisational and personal needs. We have a comprehensive training and development package which is monitored by our HR Department. The package allows all staff to have genuine opportunities to develop to their fullest potential.

Staff given opportunities to develop their potential and advance within their employment are less likely to move on. Therefore we actively seek to recruit from within for supervisory and managerial roles, giving employees the incentive to progress within the company.

Following induction training, all employees receive a 'training needs analysis' to ascertain their individual needs. This is used to formulate their personal 'individual development plans'. All completed training along with achievements are documented on the employee's individual training records. Competency is assessed on an ongoing basis. Exclusive management teams are required to provide assessments and to coach and retrain as necessary. This is reinforced by regular 'cleaning task toolbox talks' where employees are encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions.

Exclusive have been recognised and awarded status as a BICS training centre to deliver industry recognised qualification courses to all staff and management.

The company uses training providers to ensure employee competency in accordance with current legislation.
